Cash-Flow

All right! Why all this fuss about a cash flow?

An adult knows if their pocket is empty, they can't pay for their food, rent etc. They secure a surplus of liquid capital is available to meet sudden expenses. Some expenses are Needs, and others are Wants where Needs has priority.
To get oversight over the use of the available liquid capital, most people plan for it. It is the concept behind a Cash flow, and because people's demand for Wants is significant, they often can't earn enough money and therefore provides pressure on their liquid capital.
A business has the same conditions, but a company exist in the business world, which can be harsh and sometimes not fair.

One big problem in small businesses is the mixture of its cash flow and the Owners cash flow. If a cash problem happens in their company, then in many cases, it is fixed by moving money from the own cash flow to the business's cash flow. The idea is that "it is the same purse" and is a significant reason to adjust the business plan. It has become "out-of-focus" and reality. Sometimes it also can create family problems.

Every week, small businesses pay a wage to the proprietors' own cash flow and are what a proprietor would earn as an employee for a typical week's work. It will give peace in the family and a clear picture of the business' profit and benefit for doing all the admin and sales work as a proprietor do.

You can't start a business without a working capital, which you can have from your savings, investors, or a line of credit.

In all cases, you need a business plan to ensure that target, direction, and control options are in place to ensure the goals and dreams are on the tracks to success.
